I’m a non-violent person, but this caught my attention. Metal Storm, an “electronic ballistics technology company” a.k.a gun manufacturer, has demonstrated a gun that can fire at a rate of more than one million rounds-per-minute. Seems impressive. By way of comparison, the MK-15 Phalanx Close-In Weapons System, that is meant to protect Aegis-class destroyers against missiles, only fires at a rate of either 3,000 or 4,500 rounds-per-minute.
