Samsung SGH-A707 - Best Music Phone?
Strategy Analytics took 7 well known music phones, threw them at 48 reviewers and asked for their opinions. In a bit of a surprise, the apparent experts voted for the Samsung SGH-A707, aka the SYNC, as having the best combination of music quality, usability and style & design.
Another surprise was the poor showing of the Sony Ericsson W810i, as its generally well regarded as being a competent music phone. For another perspective, pls see Best of 2006: Music and Multimedia Phones - they seem to favor the Nokia 5300 XpressMusic.

One of my friend use to carry it. No doubt it’s a great music phone but I was quite disappointed to see that it’s a non syncML phone. Manufacturers should realize the importance of data backup and syncML is the only efficient wireless standard that can be used for the synchronization of Personal Information Management. Services like ZYB are getting quite popular among the mobile phone users to create an online phone data backup. SyncML feature has started playing an important role in their decision process.

I just purchased the SYNC and was quite dissapointed that it is not SyncML capable. Due to that limitation it is basically trash. A cell phone should easly be used with zyb or myfunambol, but is this one is not.
